| The Lincoln-Way East Fine Arts Facility, with a capacity of 1286 opened in 1995, and hosts countless school programs as well as professional performances throughout the year. The President's Own United States Marine Band has appeared twice on national tours as well as The Nebraska Theatre Caravan. TheatreWorks USA, American Family Theatre, and the Shakespeare Theatre have all performed at the East Fine Arts Facility. The 2008-09 school year will see more than 100 school concerts, theatrical presentations and dance recitals. The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra and the Lincoln-Way Area Chorale will also present concerts in coming months. |
