12/21/2006 - Trinity Christian College invites you to a Hymn Festival at 3 p.m. on February 25 in the Ozinga Chapel Auditorium. Audience members will be invited to join the Trinity Concert Choir and members of local church choirs in singing hymns on the theme "I Will Remember the Deeds of the Lord." The program features a brass quintet with Candace Peters on the organ. The Concert Choir is under the direction of Helen VanWyck. There will be a pre-festival lecture at 2 p.m. in the Van Namen Recital Hall by Rev. John Witvliet, director of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship titled "The Biblical Psalms in Christian Worship." The Hymn Festival is part of a year long celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Christian Reformed Church.
